Playing the role of the newly appointed CTO of a company in the midst of a cyber attack, participants will practice ascertaining priorities and making sound decisions that reinforce data preservation. They will navigate the complexities of making meaning in a crisis and communicating in a fast-paced environment, while learning the importance of crisis preparedness.
Participants become familiar with the simulation’s context by reviewing the Tutorial, Prepare screen, and Org Chart. They learn about their company, an online retailer, and their role as chief technology officer, who is currently in New York for a meeting with financial analysts.
