  • Situational Analysis – Where are we now?
  • Objectives – Where do we want to be?
  • Strategy – How do we get there?
  • Tactics – the details of the strategy
  • Actions Plans – Ensuring excellence – the execution of the plan
  • Control – How do we know we are getting there (What do we monitor?)

The stages of the model are not discrete and there are overlaps.
